Meet James.
I’m a trainer based in Santa Barbara, CA, with a Bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University and certifications in Corrective Exercise and Postural Respiration. My background combines human physiology, behavior, and performance—bridging the gap between what science shows and what actually works in real life.
My approach is simple: move better, train with purpose, and stay consistent. I design programs that adapt to your lifestyle and goals—balancing strength, mobility, and recovery so your body performs at its best, without unnecessary complexity.
I grew up loving track and field, especially the 4x400 relay. Chasing down competitors on that final stretch taught me something that still drives my coaching today: the satisfaction of knowing you’ve earned every stride. Fitness became my form of expression—and eventually, my career.
Now, my mission is to help people experience that same sense of capability in their own lives. Whether you’re rebuilding strength, improving athletic performance, or trying to feel better in your body again, I believe the process should be efficient, intelligent, and sustainable.
I don’t believe in noise or gimmicks—just thoughtful, personalized training built around you.
